Malik Roberts (b. 1990, Brooklyn, New York) is a Brooklyn-based painter and multidisciplinary artist whose work centers on cinematic figurative painting, exploring the psychological interior of Black identity through narrative, light, and form. Of Guyanese and Trinidadian heritage, Roberts grew up between New York and Atlanta, experiences that continue to inform the cultural and emotional landscape of his work. Through compositions that feel suspended in time, he constructs scenes of tension, reflection, and transformation—using shadow, gesture, and environment to examine the complexities of lived experience.

Roberts has presented solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, and London, with his work held in private and institutional collections, including the Vatican. His practice extends beyond painting through collaborations with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Hennessy, and Camus Cognac, as well as through The Maison Studio—an interdisciplinary platform exploring design, objects, and spatial storytelling. His work is also held in the collections of Adrien Brody, Lena Waithe, and Cynthia Erivo.
